September 23, 2020- CAMANO DEMOCRATS RISE UP CAMPAIGN: 44 Days to the Election.

Fellow Camano Island Democrats,

2020 is still packing a punch; on Friday we got even more bad news--Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg has died.  RBG was a trailblazer for generations of American women and a champion for justice. To lose an American icon would be devastating at any time, but now, with a Supreme Court seat vacant and McConnell, already plotting to hurry to fill her seat, it’s undeniably crucial to Rise Up Camano.

Justice Ginsburg’s dying wish was “That I will not be replaced until a new president is installed." We owe it to her -- and to everyone whose rights she championed -- to give it our all.  We must elect Democrats up and down the ballot this November and WE CANNOT DO IT WITHOUT YOUR ACTIVE PARTICIPATION

There are so many ways you can help and putting in just a few hours a week can make a big impact on ensuring that it’s not just a close election; but that it’s a Blue Tsunami up and down the ballot.

Contacts for the campaigns are below and scheduled phone banks are happening almost every night. But if phone banking is not something you’re comfortable with, consider hosting a Virtual House Party. Or perhaps write postcards. Or join a texting campaign. Or even distribute literature. The possibilities are infinite—and our need for your help is great.  You can make a huge difference!

Finally an ALL STAR Shout OUT to volunteers Val Schroeder, Allison Warner, Laurette Simmons, Linda Fryant, Anne Jorgensen, Mary Kanter, Donna Conner, Kathy Malcolm & Catherine Budbill who let me know they were quite busy this week.  Thank you for all that you are doing. And if I didn’t mentioned your name, please drop me a note and let me know what you are up to so we can recognize you next week!

To participate, contacts any of the campaigns contacts below to learn more about their activities.
